the Emeralds
inside the womb of trees
freeing themselves
between old branches a new foliage
a multitude of greens upon greens
precise and precious, such treasuries
blossoms, then fruits and seeds
a fall of Acorns concealed among the hollyhocks
ferns, clovers and morning glories

Libertam-se
nas ramagens
verdes sobre verdes
Precisos e preciosos
Flores e frutos
caem ocultos entre as malvas

"like the first leaf that dares to take space beyond the branch,
or the ripe crowns of wheat dancing and putting the sun to shame,
in the fluttering waves of a child's first laugh,
or that first salty drop on the cheek mixing with the clear notes falling from the sky,
they are the sparkles on the spiders web, each a treasure and story of its own,
as the one looking only gets mesmerized" (think it needs a bit of work at certain places, but it will do for now)
