Sleeping HeartA magnifying glass
moves through my life
yet, I can not see
where it leads me

I have lost my oracle sight,
my mystic guiding light
the perception of what the birds used to say
to my ear on the longest summer's day
I have lost their language, the understanding
the significance of their singing

An ancient fragrance
comes dancing,
cruising the river-sea
laying upon me

The beginning of a poem, seems already ending
almost a memory - taunting
and a ghost walks free - haunting
who else, but me?!
I can not bare, to wear this feeling
again, that keeps surfacing

Dark and blue, my mood as a hood
beneath the beams of the moon
hide

ShadowsAlong with shame, the shadows came
the shadows along, as the witch proud shroud
of the primeval new moon
fading the fresh roses of June
stealing blue passions their tune

Duelling ghosts of Heaven and Hell keep calling
the resentment of the Furies summoning
changing everything
as the light of day, slowly runs away
I will not play anymore nor will I pray for more

Scarlet skies bleed into rain
I crawl, feeling their cries and pain
in the obsidian amethyst night
where oracle flowers, grows
giving birth to majestic crows

Dream castles fall down, crashes
dust wind and ashes
remains of old stones, dazzling white bones
glittering ma

Rebirth - Collaboration

See... this is my domain, my reign
where death holds no path

I remember... how tall I was once,
how I sounded in the clearance of silence
how many, strong interlaced branches I carried
they all touched the tissue of the sky
all danced their celestial lullaby
rich coloured leaves, were my most precious, treasures
I smiled in the sun and in the wind and rain I balanced

I fell into someone else's gain... this is my only complain
they entered the sacred woods cutting deep into my skin and heart
still life insists... reaches for... my bleeding soul
seeds pierce the surface of the uncommon soil
vines starts weaving their chances with

ContradictionsMy head wants to scream its lungs out...
while my thoughts fall down into a dark cloud
what kind of a heart becomes quiet and still
closed in the shell of a drowning pill?

I haven't got a clue,
but like you, I am feeling very blue

Silent as the pilgrim soul
that someone stole
and wanders with the stars lost within
reaping through my bare skin

You haven't got a due
but like me, you are feeling true

So, come like the moonglow
and the burning frosting flow
I dare you to catch this wind
only with your broken wing

Voices...They are just voices in my head,
but they keep singing
I need you, to find myself

A grain of sand
once a rock hanging from the cliffs,
sunny and golden
now pale white, yellow, rusty brown

The rain on my hand
returns to the mirror
where once your face was
translucent crystal, clear diamond

This pain is more than a brand
new shadow on my skin
it's older than this shoreline, shells and rainbows
it grows... and grows

Salty tears, waves from the sea
where I enter, once again
holding the green door key
slowly drowning me

They are just voices in my head,
but they keep singing
I need you, to find myself

Wait...Angels dream outside my window
escaping from my pillow
glinting leaves of a lonely willow
into the silk of night
hiding - catching, haunting all light

Will they become stars too?
I do not know, though... I wish it so
Will they have dark wings (like you?)
and deep inner meanings (like you?)
I hope, so... too

Lay, on my shoulder, softly as a feather
falling gently in the hazy weather
Stay, as my memory is growing older
loomly within
against my lukewarm skin

Don't let the lark fool you
with her warning, singing
It's dark, oh... it's dark, still
Don't get up... wait until
dawning wakes into another morning

Swelling - I Saw The Roses - Collaboration

I saw the roses
burning inside your eyes, wildly
with the aroma of desire, leaving its fragrance
a strange and irresistible potion, in the air

My heart stopped caring
with what my head was saying... anymore
pounding without reason... everywhere
the roses grow, in a show of your affection

This time I will promise to each petal that you wear
I will, gladly, trade all of them for imprints of your radiant lips
warm kisses on my skin, tattoos of love
bringers of the sweetest sin

I will unfold every one of your roses, to it's core,
leave you bare, to cover you with my arms, my unwritten songs
counting each note - as if it was the last sunset

A Blur in Time... - Um Borrao no Tempo...Once...
I thought of love
as an everlasting rose.

Now...
years past
I know nothing lasts.

In the frailty of existence
even memories don't hold resistance...

Yet, they seem like reality
in this dream infinity.
More than a poem's verse,
an entire and mysterious universe.

Visions and WordsWalk with me to the plain fields of Riverwoods,
- he said, sounding like tree leaves growing.

Talk some more with the soft voice of waterfalls,
- she asked, closing her eyes, shifting rooks with a touch of fingers.

Get my hand and discover the intersection of crossroads,
- he pleaded, searching within the clouds, dreaming new worlds.

Let your inspiration take its twist and swirl with the winds,
- she nodded, answering him, dancing in his arms.

I'll paint the stars for you and smile,
- he declared, swinging and turning perfect circles.

And I'll put the Moon there and cry,
- she whispered, singing old lyrics, writing the silky sky.

A Walk In The ParkThe park lampshades are filled with diamonds
crystal drops of shiny, undulating water
reflecting the ambling stars
and soon the Moon too,
features her majestic glowing
within the misty colours of the night

Faces, masks... branches, leaves...
they hold the same old-untouched, beautiful symetry
although they have different tongues and shapes
they cast the same resembling shadows
in the tall grasses nest
where the roses grow wildly

The Star EaterSoon, the evening begins to slide the fall
the last of the sunbeams is soon to crash
against an unavailable horizon filled with darkness
whiskers trembles, wakening suddenly
the old hunter's claws, redraws
its new hunger while the warrior roars
fluffy cushions, little paws
ears aware and tail seductive
there it goes eating the milky wave of stars
one by one until the void of night
caresses its fur... it roars softly, tenderly
it asks to walk the grasses
to do whatever cats do until the middle of the magic hour
its eyes blink mysteriously, graciously
once to her keeper then towards the hazel mist of woods
where the full moon st

Between GhostsThe scent of strawberry flower fields after dew
I hold it in my breath for a while...
Wild violets greet the light of dawning
making their perfect purpling smile just for me.
I feel secure and warm beneath the new sun
glowing between the leaves flirting with my skin.

The clock delays its timing...
You're not late, it's me that waits far too long
I'm happy with your mumbling and excuse
pretending I don't see the signs
let's spend the day thinking of nothing
romancing with the beads and acorns left in our quilt.

Things don't turn like they should.
You're too bitter for my radiance and I resent you.
A cloud covers the sun and leav

I Can Never Go Backthe ship of souls travels into the unknown sea
there... where the deep dark holds shades of green and blue
far hidden, from time... within the haze... forever
a moment is lost and another
I can never go back...

while my left hand trembles in the void
the right one captures it and forms a shell
it's cold... so cold, awakes the wooden hull like a spell
it leaves relentless the morning shores of hell
with the sound of a crying bell

suddenly, it bursts... a myriad of lanterns in sky
against darkness... I don't ask why
they writhe and expand in a new field of stars
every curtain sails, rippling in the storm

All the lights are dead, down and over
when you come running to take cover
underneath the iris of my eyes, under my skin
deeper and deeper, searching for the last fire within

Once this was my land, where I could lay my tired hand
now, there is nothing here to make me stand
no more quest or place
to rest and hide my face

No, there is you - a jewel inside
always moving like a tide
locked and closed on the edge of razor and reason
the witch is back to end the season

Who holds the moon for so long is old and cold
needs a new heart of stars to hold
must be alone and have a hole in its soul
crying loud to be whole

FallingThis morning, passing
down the riverside, I heard the deepest crying
with the gentle autumn's waters waltzing
sounds and images in the haze seemed fading
teardrops filled my hands - leaves falling
"don't abandon me bare and alone - Oh green! Oh golden!"

Couldn't help saying
"I will look up every day for you
and when the night comes I still hold you
I will detain the winter in my pocket - the cold won't get to you
so sweet, it will be the rain, for you
all my tender kisses, just for you..."

Thank you for watching and reading, those were my exact thoughts when I wrote the words for Chryssalis.
In June I've received a month of membership that as already ended and I was able to do some things than usually we can't (just my luck I could only use half, because I was out of computer in between).
I'm going to try however use both pictures and words again, so perhaps we can try something both in this genre.
