It Could Be...

I could lay my head against your chest
close my eyes and smile away from the rest
of the world always so hard and cold
hearing your beating heart and hold
it as my own keeps a rhyming song
mine, seems is failing for far too long.

I could stay
with you until night returns to another day
until both of us become, just pieces of clay
and when you pass your fingers through my hair
it gains another wave, even the air
smells like the sea, where we could easily disappear.
