In a moment
…of transparent stillness
when,
the last of the night jewels, falls
a dust of stars forsakes the sky
and embraces the land
only then,
a cry is heard,
the sand is as time itself...
a wild diamond or just a crystal grain
…of intersection and greatness
when,
the dawn descends
with her gown of bliss and fresh ornaments
flirting and greeting, the first radiant sunbeams
only then,
the river mists return slowly to the clouds
all things sway in the southeast breeze...
such perfect balance.

An Infinite Moment
There is so much writing
and music on our
death, our inescapable
end.
Both soldiers
and inmates,
we are fighting
and we deserve this.
It is not something
to dwell on,
or mourn ourselves
with cracked speech.
We are here for
each other, as
always-
together,
together we will
pray for rain.

I'm doing this all for you
Please forget that I am here, but don't forget that I once existed.
This world I wanted to abandon has now embraced me, in the most loving of ways.
Forgetting my old emotions, I embarked on this new journey in life.
But instead of being welcomed.
I was destroyed on the spot.
Fighter planes gunning me down.
Once again I found myself at a roadblock.
Pretending that the exit behind me didn't exist.
Nor did the signs leading me in the right way.
Instead I ran straight into the bullets.
Pretending that I could take them.
That I was made of steel.
I ignored the cries telling me to turn back.
Unable to close my eyes from this fearful sight.

This is Goodbye
Feel twisted and wrong.
I've lead you on.
You opened up to me,
Showed me how you see.
Interesting new place.
Agreement on my face.
My feelings aren't clear.
It's you I fear.
You fear us all.
Terrified you'll fall.
But you let me in,
Telling of their sin.
I don't want to hurt you,
But it's what I must do.
I breathe a sigh.
This is goodbye.
